0000 Water to Wine: Awarded at World Architecture Community Awards 47th Cycle

We are excited to announce that our project, 0000 Water to Wine, has been awarded at the 47th Cycle of the World Architecture Community Awards (WA Awards)!

The WA Awards, a prestigious and globally recognized competition, highlights remarkable architectural projects that inspire contemporary discourse. This 47th Cycle featured 38 winning projects from 21 countries, showcasing a diverse array of building types. The competition attracts participants from around the world, offering a platform for projects from regions often underrepresented in mainstream media.

Project Description: Water to Wine invites visitors into a space where nature and architecture seamlessly blend to create an immersive, sensory experience. As you enter, a gravel path guides you through lush landscapes. The pathway, crunching gently underfoot, grounds you in the present moment and sets the stage for the journey ahead.

The sanctuary’s exterior walls are a pure white, symbolizing renewal and contrasting sharply with the surrounding desolation. Overhead, an elegantly curved glass roof allows sunlight to filter through, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow that enhances the tranquil atmosphere. This design not only floods the space with natural light but also maintains a connection with the outdoors, blurring the lines between inside and outside.

Project Team: Arch. Razvan Barsan; Arch. Alexandru Duca.

The award from the WA Awards is not just a recognition of our work, but a reflection of our shared vision and commitment to creating spaces that inspire. The full story behind the project can be discovered in our portfolio on our website.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Together, we continue to push the boundaries of architectural design and create spaces that resonate with the soul.
