Art Tratoria
For this glass restaurant found in Art Hotel’s garden, the architect recreated an elegant and rare dining experience, under the clear skies and in the shade of graceful trees.
The ceiling and the walls become windows open towards the sky and the city, elements that encourage the eye to extend the restaurant beyond its reduced surface area.
The large glassed surfaces are framed by metal structures anchored in the restaurant’s stone covered wall. The interior design is built around bright, neutral tones interrupted only by the warm nuances of the natural wood.
The hotel’s four star restaurant brings its specialities with the help of an elevator, hidden between the wine shelves. Finally, the geometry of the space and its cold materials are balanced by comfortable sitting areas. The flower pots fill the space with warm colours while the decorating elements recreate the feeling of traditional family dinners.
