Floating House

Good architecture attracts with beauty and harmony, without resorting to smoke and mirrors. We stand by this principle through the elegant and simple design of this single family home.

The house becomes weightlessness due to a planned effort to conceal the structural elements. The  extended upper floor, with large transparent surfaces, seems to be floating over the compact ground floor.  The impression is amplified by the elongated roofs and terraces that go down as low as the ceilings, creating a sense of continuity between the interior and the exterior.

The silhouette is above all  influenced by the sloped roof and the overhanging terraces connected by walls that outline the building`s horizontality.
